New air strikes reported in Libya

Aerei da caccia provenienti da un paese straniero non identificato, durante la scorsa notte, hanno svolto almeno quattro attacchi nei pressi della capitale libica Tripoli, secondo i resoconti dei media.
 
L'Egitto e gli Emirati Arabi Uniti, che si credeva avessero effettuato attacchi aerei contro gruppi armati in Libia il mese scorso, non hanno mai ammesso la propria responsabilità negli attacchi.
 
Un leader delle milizie locali ha detto alla Associated Press che nel corso di un attacco ci sono state vittime nella città di Gharyan.

Fighter jets from unknown country hit militia positions as Qatar rejects Libyan PM's foreign-interference accusations.

They said the targets were ammunition warehouses and weapons depots, belonging to a coalition of fighters called Libyan Dawn.

The reports came as Qatar signalled its rejection and disapproval of the statements made by Abdullah al-Thinni, Libya's prime minister, regarding the Gulf Arab state's alleged interference in his country's internal affairs.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency, Mohammed bin Abdullah al-Rumaihi, Qatar's deputy foreign minister, dismissed the allegations and claims as misleading and unfounded.

He said Qatar's policy was based on clear and consistent foundations: mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of other countries.

Noting the serious nature of the allegations, Rumaihi it would be appropriate for Thinni to ascertain the facts before releasing such statements.

Rumaihi also wondered why Thinni did not have anyting to say about the mysterious air strikes being reported from Libya.
